Our Terres Mêlées 2016 is voted a favourite by the magazine Terre de Vins, in its special edition on “210 Organic wines from the Languedoc”, with a note of 18/20.
“ Fantastic raw materials – that’s the secret of Terres Mêlées 2016, which stems from a limestone and basalt scree terroir. With nothing added and matured in concrete tanks, it is simply the quality of the grape that makes the difference. Ruby in colour, with a slight orange tint, the nose opens onto ripe red fruit. Then aromas of garrigue, menthol, chocolate and bitter orange fill the glass. The mouth feel is rounded, with a lovely fruity freshness and elegant tannins. This wine is both rich and delicate. Will keep for several more years. Pair it with a wild mushroom and truffle risotto.”
